| Trace the route of specific services by connecting the SG Signal Generator to the metallic cable or pipe utility and trace the signal using a Cable Avoidance Tool operating in the 'Generator' mode. There are two method the which the signal generator signal can be applied to buried services : |
Connect the signal to a
service using the Mains Signal
Inject or Signal Clamp for conductive

Induce a signal on to buried metal services remotely from the surface without physically connecting to that service. |

Insert traceable rod connected to a signal generator into the non metallic pipe for line tracing of the pipe up to 300m length. |
| The Stanlay PipeTraker Traceable duct rodder is an economical solution to the problem of tracing routes of nonmetallic pipes and ducts. The unique design is flexible & highly robust. Working in conjunction with a SG generator, the Traceable rod is inserted into the pipe and the rod is energized at the base of the rodder unit to send a 33 kHz signal along the full length of the rodder to trace the pipe . The signal is traced using a cable avoidance tool operating in the generator mode. |
