PX-7 Precision Thickness Gauge

The PX-7 is a precision ultrasonic material thickness gauge model with a resolution of 0.001mm. The PX series are packaged in an aluminum extruded body, with nickel plated aluminum end caps. The PX series gauges are typically used for thin material applications.

The PX Series are state of the art gauges designed for fast & accurate readings with features such as alarm mode & differential mode. Using a single element delay tip transducer, the gauge will measure in Echo Echo (E-E) mode for the materials and will automatically switch to interface Echo mode (IE) for thickness materials.

Single Point Calibration option.
Standard measurement mode for 4 readings per second.
High speed scan mode for 8 readings per second.
Differential Mode: Enter acceptable thickness value, unit will display +/- difference from value.
Alarm Mode: Enter a minimum acceptable thickness value. If measurement falls outside Hi/Lo limits, red LED illuminates & sounds beeper. If measurement is between Hi/Lo limits, green LED will illuminate.
Readings are viewable on real time basis while scanning.
Bar graph in LCD display indicates stability of reading.
