PRX-500 OHE High Voltage Proximity Detectors

The PRX-500 OHE High Voltage Proximity Detectors are designed to identify voltage remotely from live, unshielded conductors in both overhead and underground power distribution & transmission systems and also detects induction voltage during shutdown or maintenance activity. These detectors are effective from 50V up to a voltage of 500kV, and are a necessary safety device to check that overhead line is not LIVE prior to earthing suitable for 11KV / 33KV / 132KV / 220KV / 440KV supply lines.

PRX-500 OHE High Voltage Proximity Detectors are advanced electrical safety equipment that play a vital role in preventing accidents and ensuring the safety of workers involved in power distribution and transmission systems.

PRX Proximity Voltage Detectors offer up to nine selectable voltage ranges, encompassing secondary voltages to the highest transmission voltages. When voltage is detected, the PRX 500 gives an audio & visual indication powered by a rechargeable battery when within a detection distance of 10 inches.
