Stanlay provides various models of Coating thickness gauges also referred to DFT meters to meet a variety of coating inspection application requirements.
Coating gauges are necessary test instruments for measuring quality of insulation coatings being applied for ensuring good surface finish and application. Coating whether done on steel, iron, steel or other substrates ensures protection against corrosion.
At the same time coatings on non- ferrous substrates can be tested for quality control.
Dry film thickness measurement is necessarily required
Coating thickness gauges offered can be used on all metal types including non-magnetic coatings such as paint, enamel, chrome on ferrous substrates such as steel .
In addition, non-conductive coatings such as paint and anodizing coatings on non-ferrous substrates.
The DFT meters utilise Electromagnetic induction principle for thickness measurement of non-magnetic coatings on ferrous substrates such as steel and eddy current for non con-conductive coatings on non- ferrous substrates.
The following model options are available based on requirement :
CT600 series gauges are advanced coating inspection gauges with statistical data directly displayed during measurement allowing coating inspection technician to view variance during inspection, making the daily task much easier. CT600 provide higher accuracy and are available with both internal probe and external probe. While standard measurement range options generally used is 0 ~2000um , an extended range option of CT100XE is offered with external probe with 0 ~5000um range.
CT100 series gauges are economy coating gauges based on internal probe for paint measurement on all metal types.
