BH-Profile In-Place Inclinometer
The BH-Profile IPI In-Place Inclinometer is the highest performance and most widely utilized IPI (In-Place Inclinometer) inclinometer model, with the primary purpose of Automatic & near real time monitoring of displacement at critical locations with high accuracy.
The BH profile IPI Inclinometer is ideally utilised for continuous remote monitoring of casings deformed by active soil movements typical of excavations for underground tunnelling, excavations in areas with potentially unstable slopes or ground soil, etc.
BH-Profile Inclinometer installed inside inclinometer casings are buried within trenches, foundations or horizontal drill holes for automatic monitoring of settlement or heave (upward movement of the ground due to swelling or expansion of soil) Measuring Range: ±10°, ±15°, ±20°, ±30°. Horizontal installation applications include installation in embankment for monitoring.
Each gauge consists of a stainless-steel body on one side for connecting carbon fibre extension rod and on the other side a stainless-steel carriage with spring-loaded wheels. Each BH profile chain is composed by a CHAIN of such gauges connected utilizing carbon fiber extensions.
The gauges are electrically linked with waterproof male/female connectors, and the string is connected to a readout or datalogger unit with single digital bus cable.
Based on its digital RS-485 signal output, they can be connected to the SISGEO OMNIAlog datalogger or WR-Log wireless system for remote data management.
Available for vertical or horizontal applications, BH IPI inclinometers are Installed inside an inclinometer casing- Assembled in a continuous chain and then lowered inside the casing. Compliant with ISO standard 18674-3.
