The Intelligens WW is an intrinsically safe (ATEX/IECEx Zone 0 certified) data logger specifically designed for wastewater applications in hazardous and demanding environments. It is ideally suited for monitoring combined sewer overflows, storm drains, manholes, flood warning systems, and storage tanks – when utilised with a sewage level radar or float sensor, such as RadarSens LR or SpillSens.  

The Intelligens WW is engineered for long-term deployment, it offers a robust 5-year battery life (no external power connection required) and built-in 4G/LTE connectivity, enabling quick field deployment with reliable two-way communication for remote programming, firmware updates, and alarm configuration.

The Intelligens WW supports the WITS 1.3 (Water Industry Telemetry Standard) protocol and is compatible with a wide range of sensors, including Spillsens, RadarSens and RadarSens LR sewage level sensors, as well as other pressure and level sensors. Its durable, intrinsically safe design and flexible sensor support make it a dependable solution for continuous monitoring in explosive or high-risk wastewater environments.

Working Principle:
The Intelligens WW operates by continuously collecting data from connected field sensors, such as RadarSens sewage level sensors, pressure transducers, or other compatible level and flow measurement devices.

  • The Intelligens WW is equipped with a built-in 4G/LTE modem, the Intelligens WW transmits this data securely to cloud-based telemetry systems. It supports two-way communication, allowing for remote programming, firmware upgrades, alarm configurations, and diagnostic checks—all without the need for on-site visits.
  • Built in battery with 5 year life.

Remote management : Data transmission and remote device management are facilitated through HWM’s telemetry platforms:

  • DataGate: Acts as a secure data transfer service, receiving and routing logged data from the device to the cloud.
  • DataView: A user-friendly web portal where users can view, analyse, and download data, configure alarms, schedule reports, and manage deployed devices remotely.

If any reading exceeds pre-set thresholds (such as overflow levels or rapid rises in water level), the device can trigger real-time alerts, helping utilities take immediate corrective actions.

This automated and intelligent system ensures reliable monitoring of wastewater infrastructure, especially in hazardous, remote, or difficult-to-access locations, significantly reducing manual intervention and operational costs.
