RadarSens LR is a radar-based level monitoring system made for deep wastewater and sewer networks. Installed inside a sewer manhole, it uses advanced radar technology to continuously measure changing levels of wastewater in sewers, or rain water in storm water pipes up to a long range of 14 meters depth -  to notify utility engineers of potential sewer or storm water overflow BEFORE it happens.

With ATEX Zone 0 certification, RadarSens LR is approved for use in potentially explosive or potentially flammable environments, making it a trusted choice for municipalities, utilities, and industrial facilities. The device is fully compatible with HWM’s telemetry data loggers, offering seamless remote data transmission via 4G/LTE-M cellular connectivity, and enabling integration into central monitoring systems without the need for wired infrastructure.

RadarSens LR is usually integrated with a datalogger such such as Intelligens WW for remote monitoring based on data transmission of monitored sewage/waste water levels with alarms based on rising level thresholds. The device also monitors temperature, sensor orientation (pitch & roll) and signal intensity which helps detect blockages and movement.

RadarSens LR’s Bluetooth-based configuration allows technicians to install, align, and calibrate the device through the HWM Deployment App, eliminating the need to physically access confined spaces. With intelligent diagnostics such as signal strength analysis and echo profiling, RadarSens LR ensures optimized setup and long-term operational stability.

RadarSens LR is Built for easy deployment, it includes versatile mounting options such as stainless-steel wall brackets and non-drill brace bars, along with a laser alignment tool to guarantee precise installation.
