Gas Detection Equipment

Gas Monitoring Instruments

Gas detectors are used to measure and indicate the concentration of various gases in air and can be used as an early detection system against increase in concentration of life threatening gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO) and ammonia (NH3) apart from combustible gases.

A large number of industries are involved in the use of combustible and toxic gases or product high levels of CO, CO2 or gases such as Cl3 etc and their random escape may sometimes lead to the increase in the concentration of these gases which creates a potential hazard for manpower and surroundings.

Gas detection instruments are available in two product options: Portable Gas Detectors and Fixed Gas detectors.

Portable gas detection instruments are safety devices available in multi gas detector and single gas detector options are capable of detecting different type of gases ; These handheld gas detectors are heavy duty devices operable in any working environment and are generally worn on the person and provide alarms such as flashing or vibration apart from an audio alarm if the operator enters an area with concentration levels higher than the threshold minimum or maximum values.

Fixed gas detector options are ideal for monitoring gas concentration levels in industrial environments or specific location and are installed to measure oxygen, toxic gas and combustible gas, in a place where potential gas hazard exists.  It shows not only the concentration of gas but also diagnostic result of the unit itself through the LCD display and can be connected to a controller with a standard 4-20mA analog output communication or RS-485 digital communication for direct display at control room.

Gas Detection Equipment are devices necessary to maintain standards of health and safety for operators
