Aquascope 3 Acoustic Water Leak Detector
The Aquascope 3 Acoustic Water Leak Detector has superior clear sound quality using digital technology which eliminates the background static noise. This significant reduction in background static noise makes it easy for new operators to become good leak finders. This Aquascope 3 has minimum noise profiling and a memory function that displays the minimum noise levels for each of the last eight soundings, making it easy to determine if you are getting closer or further from the leak.

The combination of the superior sound quality , simple and intuitive operation, minimum noise profiling and user selectable filters to suppress back ground noises make the Aquascope 3 the preferred choice for the professional leak finder. The electronic listening stick is used to listen by making direct contact on valves, hydrants, water meters and the pipe when it comes above ground, in a leakage survey to localise the position of a leak. Then the path of the pipe is followed with a ground microphone, to identify the position of the pipe generating leak noise. With very little training, a good operator can usually pinpoint the leak position to within 100mm.

• Digital leak noise analysis displays real leak noise level
• Automatic memorisation of leak noise levels for comparison
• High performance sensor developed for correlation technology
• Infinitely adjustable, narrow band-pass filter to suppress ambient
  noise.
• Graphical and digital leak information on LCD display with backlight
• Robust Ground-Mike with wind-and-ambient sound proofing
• Hand-probe for direct ‘contact sounding’ on pipes and fittings
• Tri-pod foot for ‘surface sounding’ on soft ground
