Passive Marker
The passive electronic marker requires no AC power, batteries and no connections and is based on resonant principle.
Each marker is tuned to a specific frequency such as 169.8kHz, 145.7kHz etc. Once the marker receives a signal at a specific frequency from the hand held digital trans-receiver corresponding to its own frequency, the signal is transmitted back to the receiver for locating. Deploy marker along route of utility at regular intervals and freely on bends to achieve a permanent utility marking and traceability.
