Novasonic Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Tester

The Novasonic ultrasonic pulse velocity tester is a high performance, microprocessor based instrument that measures velocity , transit time & other parameters for evaluating uniformity, cavities, cracks, delamination & deterioration for determining quality of concrete and other masonry materials. 

Based on a windows CE operating system & touch screen color VGA screen, any level of operator can use the instrument in the field or in lab by simply observing wave forms on the display for anomalies and observing transit time. Novasonic conforms to: EN 12504-4, ASTM C 597-02, Bs1881 PART 203, IS 1311, CEC 521, ISO 1920-7:2004 

This latest generation UPV for Concrete NDT inspection will allow direct oscilloscope view of graph on screen to allow determination of homogeneity of structure or cube material and quick determination of anomalies, if any. Velocity is also displayed directly on the instruments.

Data can also be saved as text files directly in the instrument with over 2, 50,000 reading storage memory using the expandable USD/SD Card slots. 

The Novasonic UPV contains class leading features such as SONREB measurement, Young’s modulus amongst others as standard features.

The Novasonic ultrasonic pulse velocity tester for concrete is provided with extra-long cables of 3.5m each to allow use of the instrument on site with ease.

In addition, based on a large capacity Li-ion battery with an 8+ hour battery life, allows use of the instrument for extended hours in any field condition.
