The SFX 8-1000 is a mobile and economical fault locating system, perfectly suitable for low voltage cables such as control cables , lighting systems or deep-well-pump cables amd also in medium voltage cables. With its voltage levels of 2 – 4 – 8 kV the system is perfectly suited for the fault location in these low voltage applications. The available surge energy of 1000 Joule covers the above requirements. 

The powerful ARM® (Arc Reflection Method) is used to pre-locate high resistance faults. Conditioning faults - if necessary - is possible by short-term burning in all voltage levels.The SFX8 includes the Teleflex SX control unit cum TDR which offers convenient operator support with online help and one-button-operation. It automatically shows the end of cable and fault location in the ARM®-Mode.Even inexperienced users can easily locate faults with the “Step-byStep Easy Mode”. The operator is guided through the fault locating process. 1000 Joules of surge energy provide the necessary power for accurately pin-pointing cable faults with the acoustic method.The modular construction, mounted on a trolley permits the use and transport as complete system but also allows the separation and transport in smaller components.
