The Modern and Advanced NDT Solutions for Concrete Health Monitoring workshop in Bengaluru brought together 100 professionals from the concrete, construction, structural engineering, and infrastructure sectors for an insightful technical and networking event.
Held on 5 August 2026 at Radisson Blu Atria Bengaluru, the workshop focused on the latest advancements in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), structural health monitoring, and concrete condition assessment.
The event featured renowned experts, including Dr. Manamohan R. Kalgal, Er. H. R. Girish, Dr. Tronca Guido, and Er. Logesh Raj, along with senior members of the Indian Concrete Institute (ICI) Bengaluru Centre, whose decades of experience in structural engineering and concrete technology enriched the discussions.
Attendees learned about the latest innovations in concrete health monitoring, explored real-world infrastructure case studies, understood advanced techniques for evaluating RC and PSC structures, witnessed live demonstrations of modern NDT instruments, and networked with researchers, consultants, contractors, infrastructure owners, and industry professionals.
The workshop provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, showcasing how advanced NDT technologies and structural health monitoring can improve infrastructure safety, support predictive maintenance, and extend the service life of concrete structures.
